The TeX Users Group (TUG) meeting 2025 will take place in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, from July 18-20 (Fri-Sun), 2025. It is hosted by TeXFolio, an institutional member and sponsor of the TeX Users Group.

The venue is the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Trivandrum.
Dates and deadlines are as follows:
- As soon as possible – visa application (request invitation letter). Most participants coming from outside India will need a visa, so it’s advisable to apply for it as soon as possible. The conference committee can support you with invitation letters and other assistance; you can email them at tug2025@tug.org.
- April 4, 2025 – bursary application (financial assistance) deadline, available for those needing financial assistance to attend the conference.
- April 25 – deadline for early bird registration discount.
- April 25 – deadline for abstracts for presentation proposals.
- June 1 – deadline for hotel reservations at the Hyatt. Booking early is highly advisable.
- June 13 – deadline for preprints (submit PDF) to be in the printed program.
- July 9 – deadline for uploading all slides and videos, for all speakers.
- July 17, 17:30-19:30 – opening reception.
- July 18-20 – TUG conference, Friday–Sunday. The TUG Annual General Meeting will take place during the conference, time tbd.
- July 20, evening – banquet.
- July 28 – deadline for final papers for the printed TUGboat proceedings.
I attended the TUG meeting in Trivandrum in 2011 and enjoyed hospitality and program very much and can highly recommend to attend. Depending on time and budget, I consider attending too.
